In accordance with Article 73/A added to the Law on the Protection of Consumers, disputes in consumer courts that are outside the boundary of the consumer arbitration committee and whose subject matter cannot be determined with money are subject to the mandatory mediation case requirement and it has become a mandatory case requirement to apply to the mediator before the case is filed. Disputes arising from services such as credit cards, consumer loans, services or poor quality goods, cash and installment sales, insurance-transportation and cargo contracts, subscription, special training and courses, timeshare and timeshares, touristic tours and applications such as private hospital transactions are considered as “consumer disputes”.
